University of Texas Ranked #9 in Annual Global Ranking of Universities for VC-Backed Founders

The university rankings conducted by PitchBook compared schools by calculating the number of alumni entrepreneurs who formed venture capital-backed companies.  Pitchbook filtered their analysis by enrollment, geographic location, publicly or privately funded, and including all postgraduate degree holders.  Austin’s University of Texas ranked #9 in the Annual Global Ranking of Universities for the undergraduate category, producing the most venture capital-backed founders with capital raised of $15.3B.
