Texas ahead of game in 'smart' homes

According to a recent article in the Austin Business Journal, Accenture Consulting has determined from research that Texas is a head of the game in "smart" homes.  Smart homes are homes that use technology and other sources to help cut cost in terms of power and water. Research is finding more and more home owners want these options.  The City of Austin offers rebates and programs that help conserve energy and use other sources like wind farms to get energy from renewable sources by 2020.
