A non-biased analysis done by Vocativ, a data-oriented news website, ranks Austin the fifth-most livable city in America for people 35 and under. Data released by the U.S. Census Bureau shows that Austin’s population boom since 2000 has earned it the title of third fastest-growing big city in the nation. The increase is a 27.4% rise in the population count that was recorded in 2000. Austin’s population is up to 836,800, which is up from the 656,562 count that was completed at the turn of the 21st century.
