Austin is 2nd Fastest Growing City for Families

With more and more people moving to Austin with their kids or giving birth to kids in Austin, it has become the 2nd fastest growing city in the country for families according to Forbes.  The rankings were based on data on the changes in the number of 5 to 14 year olds since 2000. This is not surprising as Austin was also recently named the number 3 city to educate, entertain and exhaust your kids.

Austin's real estate market is looking excellent for 2015Over the past four years, Austin real estate has garnered strong forecasts in the Urban Land Institute’s “Emerging Trends in Real Estate” annual reports. The report is a summary of data collected from real estate investment experts around the world. It’s prepared in association with PricewaterhouseCoopers, which focuses on audit and assurance, tax and consulting services. In 2015, Austin real estate has been ranked as the country’s second-best real estate market.


Austin Dogtoberfest 2014

Looking for something to do with your dogs this weekend in Austin? Check out the annual Dogtoberfest at the Domain. Dogtoberfest is an Austin based, non-profit organization, created for the purpose of instilling awareness about dog rescue, as well as raising much needed moneys for local dog rescue organizations. The event is an opportunity for you and your dog to enter the weiner dog race, canine costume contest or have a family photo taken with your pooch at the Whole Foods Pet Potrait booth! Austin is #3 City in the Country for Kid Events & Activities

Looks like Austinites are moving to the suburbs while transplants are moving to Travis County.
