The Cain Team Team Finishes Strong in Keller Williams 1st Annual Red Rally

The team and Cain Realty Group with Keller Williams Realty finished very strong in the 1st Annual Keller Williams Red Rally 5k this past Sunday. Four team members from Cain Realty Group placed in the top 15 competitors for the 5k run.

The Keller Williams Red Rally is a fitness event to kick off the Keller Williams 2013 Mega Camp national real estate convention that is taking place in Austin this week from Sept. 16-20. The rally included a 5k walk/run, as well as a 20k bicycle ride. Agents, family and friends from across the country came together to on Sunday to get fit and give back. Proceeds from the event went to help Keller Williams associates located in Des Moines, Iowa. The agents in Des Moines have been denied commissions when helping clients buy homes listed by their competitors. These Keller Williams associates have continued to put their clients’ needs first, despite earning only $1 from such transactions.

The event took place at Pace Bend Park with beautiful views of Lake Travis. The course consisted of mixed terrain including paved roads as well as trails. 

Four of Cain Realty Group's runners came in under 24 minutes, including Buyer's Specialist Tim Landy, Executive Assistant Maranda Creamer, and Realtor and Team Leader Ricky Cain. Maranda came in with the team's fastest time at 22:33 placing 5th overall and 2nd in the female division. Ricky placed 7th overall with an impressive time of 22:46, and Tim place 13th overall with a time of 23:58, an excellent feat for his first 5k run. The 1st place winner of the race finished at 20:54.

The Cain Realty Group team was thrilled to take place in the fantastic event. They hope to continue the tradition next year and step up their game even more for the 2nd Annual Red Rally.
