The Texas Hill Country region is one of the most beautiful destinations around our city. Day trips to the 9 million-acre region are a stable for any resident or tourist in our city. Due to the dry, desirable climate, winemakers have mastered the growing process to take advantage of the seasons to produce grapes like, Tempranillo, Syrah, Albarino, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Zinfandel. This region is the second-largest wine region in the country and recently ranked No. 6 on the list of the top 10 wine regions in the U.S. in 2019.
