When comparing cities that are the best for settling down into retirement, there are many factors to consider. Two of the most important are cost of living and quality of life. U.S. News and World Report, known for their rankings, rated the 100 largest metropolitan cities based on these factors.
The city of Austin, TX came in at #4. The Texas capitol city is known for it's arts and culture scene, outdoors activities and being the "Live Music Capitol of the World".
