Best Place To Grab A Drink In Austin

Happy Friday!! If a delicious cocktail is exactly what you need after a busy work week, this blog is for you. Our team has listed out our favorite cocktail and drink spots in the Austin area, from Buda up to the Domain.

Nates - Buda, TX

This bar and coffee spot is known for its farmhouse decor and "morning, noon, and night" availability. The Nate's team recommends a Cuvee coffee in the morning, a craft brew pair with a cheese plate in the afternoon, and a glass of wine under the "Big Oak" in the evening.

Eberly/Cedar Tavern - Zilker

This beautiful restaurant is known for its incredible contemporary cuisine. The cocktails are just as amazing. We highly recommend grabbing a margarita at the restaurant bar and if you like drinks with a little kick, ask for them to make it spicy. The other amazing feature about this restaurant is the Cedar Tavern in the back where you can sip an old fashion at the 1866 Cedar Tavern Bar from Greenwich Village in New York City.

P6 - Downtown Austin

Follow the pink neon lights in the lobby of the Line Hotel to the elevator that brings you up to the panoramic views of Lady Bird Lake, the Austin Skyline, and South Congress Avenue. These drinks are incredibly photogenic and taste even better than they look.

Firehouse - Downtown Austin

If you are looking for a night out at a speakeasy, this craft cocktail lounge is awesome. Walk through the bookcase in the hostel lobby to find a lively, prohibition-era vibe. The craft cocktails on the wall are excellent. We haven't tried one we didn't like.

Barley Swine - Allandale

If you are a fan of the Odd Duck on S. Lamar or are looking for a wonderful happy hour any day of the week, except Saturday, you have to try "Swine Time." This happy hour has amazing cocktails, draft beers, and bottles of wine at a fantastic price.

Lala's Little Nugget - Crestview

If quirky and fun is your vibe, we've got the place for you! This small strip-mall tavern has the dive bar feel with year-round holiday decor and holiday-themed drinks. Try "Grandma's Boozy Eggnog" or the "Irish Iced Coffe" to get you in the holiday spirit any time of the year :)
