New Year’s Eve is one of the greatest celebrations across the world. We are all counting down to welcome the new prosperous year. To celebrate, some travel to major cities for a ball drop, throw elaborate home parties with champagne, stay home and enjoy all of the television specials with family and attend midnight church services. If you fall under the category of those that travel to celebrate, a recent study just made your life easier. This study ranked the 100 biggest cities based on 28 key indicators from the price of entry tickets to the forecasted precipitation. Our wonderful city of Austin ranked as the 27th best place for New Year’s celebrations. Being known for the great entertainment and mouth-watering foods, this came as no surprise. We will keep a lookout for this ranking in 2019!
