Austin ranked #8 in the Best Cities to Start a Career with a total score of 60.44, professional opportunities of 26, and quality of life of 2.

WalletHub compared the relative market strength and overall livability of 182 cities and evaluated across two key dimensions “Professional Opportunities” and “Quality of Life.” And determined each city’s weighted average across all metrics to calculate its overall score and used the resulting scores to rank order.
