In the recent study, Austin ranked 8th compared to 116 largest metros on Wallethub's 2022 Hardest-Working Cities in the U.S. with a total score of 71.85. The data set ranges from employment rate to average weekly work hours to the share of workers with multiple jobs to get the result.
