Austin Ranked #43 Globally in the World’s Best Cities

Austin's popularity as a relocation destination is often attributed to its thriving job market, diverse cultural scene, and relatively lower cost of living compared to some other major cities.

Resonance gathered the data from 400 global cities and user-generated ratings and reviews and interprets through three key factors – livability, lovability and prosperity.

The report says, “Austin ranks #6 globally in our Google Search subcategory and #23 in University Ranking (University of Texas).  Austin has secured headquarters for giants like Oracle, Tesla, BAE Systems and dozens more, joining incumbents like Samsung USA, which itself is mulling a $40-billion local investment into 11 manufacturing plants here.  University of Texas at Austin is also a talent magnet, focusing on research and a growing skills pipeline to the symbiotic private sector.”
