Spooky season is here and we want to have as much fun as we can, so why not visit a few pumpkin patches in the area for some awesome photo ops? Cain Realty Group brings you a list of pumpkin patches in the Austin area that are ready to offer your family great photo shooting scenery and a myriad of other family-friendly activities to keep you busy this upcoming Halloween weekend: 

Location: Barton Hills Farm

Schedule: September 24 to November 13, 2016; 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. (Saturdays), 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Sundays), on Columbus Day (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.)

Admission: $14 (kids ages 0-2 are FREE)

Attractions: Fall Festival & Corn Maze (5-acre corn maze), frontier fort, giant shipwrecked sandbox, giant jumping pillow, barrel train, live music, farm animals, concessions on sale.

Location: Elgin Christmas Tree Farm

Schedule: October 4, 2016, onwards

Admission: $7 (ages 2-12), $9 (13 and up)

Attractions: hayrides, mazes, farm animals, pumpkin decorating, playgrounds, picnic areas, hay jumps, live music, rubber duck races, and more!

Location: Evergreen Farms

Schedule: Whole of October; Saturdays 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Sundays 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Admission: FREE for Pumpkin Hunt, $2.50/ticket activities, $5 for authentic pumper fire truck ride

Attractions: wagon rides, toddler play area, pumpkin recipes, pumpkin decorating, bean bag toss, petting zoo, pumpkin hunt, pumpkin launcher, pumpkin maze, pumpkin slide, train ride, pumpkin golf, fire truck rides

Location: Sweet Berry Farms

Schedule: September 24 to November 6, 2016; 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. except Sundays (1 p.m. – 5 p.m.), CLOSED on Wednesdays

Admission: FREE

Attractions: Pay per activity/booths, hay rides, train, maze, sand art, horse rides, stuff a scarecrow, face painting, giant jumping pillows, home-made ice cream

Location: The Jersey Barnyard

Schedule: September 24 to October 31, 2016; Monday-Friday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Saturdays 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; Sundays 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Admission: FREE; $5 for self-guided tour

Attractions: free pumpkin painting, animal feeding, milking a cow, hay rides, farm tours, farm produce on sale, etc.

Location: Robinson Family Farm in Temple

Schedule: October 1 to October 30, 2016, Saturdays and Sundays (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.)

Admission: FREE (please note that some activities may require the purchase of tickets/wristbands)

Attractions: corn maze, hay rides, arts & crafts, farm animals, pumpkin sand art, etc.

Location: Crowe’s Nest Farm in Manor

Schedule: October 8, 15, 22, & 29, 2016.

Admission: FREE (kids ages 2 and below), $3 for 2-year-olds, $ 7

Attractions: fresh organic produce from local vendors, raptor shows, snake lessons, corn and photo cannon booth, etc.

Location: South Texas MaiZE in Hondo

Schedule: Now ‘til November 15, 2016; Fridays (6 p.m. – 9 p.m.,), Saturdays (10 a.m. – 9 p.m.), & Sundays (12 nn. – 5 p.m.)

Admission: $15

Attractions: pumpkin patch, corn maze, bounce pillows, cow train, worm slide, goat walk, campfires with s’mores, hayrides, and more!

Location: Red Barn Garden Center

Schedule: October 1 to 31, 2016; weekdays (10 a.m. – 6 p.m., except Mondays).

Admission: $7 per child

Attractions: Annual Pumpkin Festival, animal visits, painting pumpkins, play area fun, Story time & Paint-a-Pumpkin on Thursdays.

Location: Bethany Pumpkin Patch

Schedule: October 14 to October 31, 2016; Monday-Saturday (10 a.m. – 7 p.m.), Sundays (9 a.m. – 6 p.m.)

Admission: FREE

Attractions: photo/picture opportunities, storytelling, peddling tracker course, food trucks, coloring area, and more.
