Austin Places 7th In The 2021 North America Airport Satisfaction Study

And most air travelers are expecting a quality experience from the airport and airline companies. During this pandemic, the airport implemented limited movement to prevent the spread of the virus. Despite that, travelers give high customer satisfaction ratings to these airports because of the enhanced security, the safety of travelers, and the quality of experience.
Based on a 1000-point scale for index rating performed by J.D. Power in the 2021 North America Airport Satisfaction Study, large airports category, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is on the 7th spot with a score of 819. This study measures customer-traveler satisfaction by examining six factors: terminal facilities, arrival, departure, baggage claim, security check, check-in baggage check, food, beverage, and retail.
