Austin One of the Hottest Real Estate Markets in May

Austin real estate has turning a lot of heads this Spring. Buyers from across the country have been attracted to the affordable prices, jobs availability and lifestyle offerings in the city. With all the 

buyers and sellers in the Austin real estate market, the housing scene here continues to heat up while newcomers arrive in droves on a daily basis.

Realtor.com issued it’s findings for the 20 hottest housing markets in America for May and it’s no surprise that Austin made the list. Based on an analysis of views per listing and average number of days on the market, Austin’s real estate market made the list and shows no signs of cooling down.

Continued economic growth, businesses moving to Austin and new home development on the rise all make for an attractive future for the world’s music capital. Despite being on the prestigious list, Austin’s home prices are still very affordable considering its continued reputation as one of the nation’s hottest real estate markets.
