Austin Named Best State Capital in the U.S.
Here’s another accolade for Austinites to celebrate: a recent study by WalletHub concluded that Austin, Texas is the Best State Capital in the United States for 2016. The study, comparing 50 state capitals to identify which among them combines the best of everything an ideal city has to offer, is one of recently-concluded studies conducted by non-government organizations that confirm Austin’s status as a stellar choice for millennials, retirees, career people, and businesses alike.
WalletHub’s study considered affordability, strong economy, high education standards, and overall excellent quality of life to rank all 50 state capitals. With 35 key metrics (such as cost of living and K-12 school-system quality), this has been one of WalletHub’s most extensive studies to date.
Here are the 10 best state capitals to live in this 2016:
10. Columbus, OH
