WalletHub recognized Austin as 2nd place in the Top 100 Cities in US Gamers with a total score of 65.93, based on gaming environment, gamer-friendliness, internet quality, coverage, game developer education, and job opportunities.  Nowadays, gaming is a good business and in demand, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.  Globally, it’s a $159 billion industry and with no signs of slowing down.  It became a hobby in the US, and there are so many ways to enjoy video games at present, from consoles by Nintendo, Sony PlayStation, Microsoft gaming, and mobile devices.  According to the Pew Research Center, 72% of male Americans ages 18-29 play video games “often” or “sometimes,” as do 49% of female Americans in the same age range.  Gaming can be an expensive and time-consuming habit, and everyone should maintain a healthy gaming lifestyle.
