Austin is #3 Largest Growing Tech Talent Pool in the U.S.

The demand for tech jobs is high due to evolving and growing technology worldwide. And the sector offers many opportunities for tech talents, such as high-paying salaries, decent working environments, career growth and development, and innovation in many tech fields.  

A new analysis by LinkedIn’s Economic Graph team finds Austin is the #3 Largest Growing Tech Talent, with 36.9 % from 2019 to 2022. This ranking focuses on information technology skills, mechanical, civil, electrical, chemical, and bioengineering. LinkedIn gathered data from metro areas with a minimum of 20,000 LinkedIn members with engineering or IT talents.
