Home buying platform Knock collected data for the 100 largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. related to affordability, availability of homes, and critical attributes at each stage of life. Austin appears in the Top 10 in any of three categories: millennials, Gen Xers, and baby boomers. On this year's list of the top housing market for millennials, Austin ranks 1st.

The Austin market boasts 40 times more than other largest metros, based on Knock's report. And this has been noted for its growing tech industry, offering more jobs, the best in education, festivals, outdoor activities, and a great place to live and raise a family.
