Austin Area Population Reaches Record Milestone

The Austin metropolitan area reached a new population milestone this year. According to the Austin Business Journal, the area has reached a statistical population of over 1,870,000 last month. When a popluation reaches a number with four or more zeros and the end, it is considered a milestone. We agree with the Austin Business Journal's number analysis as Cain Realty Group has seen an increase in buyers moving to the Austin area from out of town, and the current market is greatly in favor of our sellers, as we've seen several Austin homes go under contract in the last few weeks before hitting the Austin MLS.
