A Joyful Christmas In Austin

We have so many wonderful and merrier ways to spend holidays this year in Austin. There are favorite local holiday happenings, such as theater shows, group activities, shopping, and more, that can brighten and bring smiles to you and your loved ones. Let's make this year special and forget the past year's effect of the COVID-19 pandemic in many lives of people.

The Watchmaker Song by Ventana Ballet, at Neill-Cochran House Museum, on December 16, 17, 18 at 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM.  

Ginger Cocktail Masterclass, an event from December 16, 2021, from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at Bar Ellis, Fareground.  Participants will work from the station with all the spirits and bar tools to make 3-ginger based cocktails.  Perfect for a group of friends and after-work happy hour to apply your strategies to win the cocktail contest.  

National Ugly Sweater Day, it's a holiday-themed bar crawl on December 17, 2021, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Central Plaza Pavilion.  You can win cocktail specials, prizes, and more.  

A Meri-Achi Christmas, a holiday performance by Mariachi Sol de México de Jóse Hernàndez at the Moody Theater on December 17, 2021, at 8:00 PM.  

The Paramount Theatre - White Christmas, a musical performance of the most talented entertainers to be held on December 19, 2021, at 3:30 PM. 

Stealing Baby Jesus, holiday storytelling written and performed by Bernadette Nason on December 20 - 26 at Trinity Street Playhouse.  

A Very Merry Christmas Show featuring Parker House Band and vocalist Jennifer Johnson, a rendition of jazz arrangements of perennial favorites on December 23, 2021, from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Parker Jazz Club.  

Christmas Wine Affair, from November 29 - December 24, 2021, at Participating Texas Hill Country Wineries, Fredericksburg, TX 78624.  

Gingerbread Village, at Four Seasons Hotel Austin, is one of the most holiday sights in Austin.  They will feature eleven edible and meticulously crafted houses in the lobby from November 29 - December 28, 2021.  

Walkway of Lights, hosted by The Marble Falls of Chamber of Commerce - opens on November 19 until January 1, 2022, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.  It displays lighted sculptures at Lakeside Park, and it's accessible to the public!
