Cherry Creek Schools

The Cherry Creek neighborhood is generally served by the Austin ISD (although you should always verify this before purchasing any home!).   The primary elementary schools serving this neighborhood are Sunset Valley, Cunningham, Odom and Cowan.  The primary middle school is Covington (with some coverage by Bedichek) and the primary high school is Crockett, which sits right next to the much-loved Garrison Park.

Austin Community College also has a campus in the area, located at the intersection of Stassney Ln. and Manchaca Rd, just north of Crockett high school.

Cherry Creek Amenities

Cherry Creek is a fantastic area for those who love to get outside. Many homes are within walking distance of Garrison Park, with its huge public pool, great playground, and large sports complex.  Also within easy distance are the Stephenson Nature Preserve and the Circle C Ranch Metro Park.  

You'll find quite a few convenient dining options in the area, including the well-known Cherry Creek Catfish Company, Taqueria Arandas on W Stassney, and Bakehouse Restaurant near the community college on Manchaca.
